A UC Denver student in the Singer/Songwriter program and at just 18, Britta K is a sought after talent already making a name for herself in the Denver area. She and her band opened for the Hazel Miller Band at Lakewood’s Sounds Exciting! 2019 summer series. She also wrote and dedicated an original song — To The Fullest — for her high school class graduation ceremony, which she played on the Red Rocks Amphitheater stage. She brought this song to the Jeffco Area Day Without Hate and local Relay for Life this year as well.

For seven years, Britta performed with the Colorado Children’s Chorale and advanced to their top touring choir, where she got a taste of singing on professional stages in both the US and Europe. She also performed in the top choirs and in musicals at Chatfield Senior High. At the end of the 2016/17 school year, Jefferson County Schools asked her to write and perform a song. The video, I Can't Wait, is the result.

Britta is honored to have worked on her first EP, no more, with the following outstanding producers: Larry Ciancia, Trevor Hustor, & Patrick Warren. Each brought a different production flavor while encouraging this young artist to follow her dreams. Her EP cover, designed by the incomparable Adam Turner, tied the themes of no more and gravity while adding a touch of whimsy. Again, she is so grateful to work with this caliber of talent. no more is on iTunes, Amazon, Apple Music, Spotify, and etc.

Backed by her soaring, genuine vocals, her original songs reflect the hope we all have of finding a happily ever after or of just living the best life we can. And as she pens each song (over 300 written) with its unique story (only her closest friends truly know who she writes about) into composition notebooks (currently filling her third), we find her words uncannily relate to our lives as well.

Like a typical teenager, Britta likes to hang out with friends, shop, watch movies, and play with her adopted rescue dog. Like a true artist though, she's happiest when she's creating (she also plays guitar, piano, and ukulele), and she looks for every chance to share her music — at downtown Golden & Boulder; at area Farmer’s Markets; while leading her church’s worship team on Sundays; while soloing The National Anthem at sport and other events; and at many other gigs around Denver.

Listen to and buy her music. Attend her performances. Follow her on social media — @brittakmusic Encourage her artistry. And most of all, invite her lyrics and melodies into your heart.

you cease forever to be able to do it.”
